Loves Hatred

She broke my heart with a careless lie,
Love once pure now left to die.
In her arms, another she found,
While I stood still, shattered, bound.

I gave her trust, my soul laid bare,
But she chose deceit, an empty stare.
With every kiss she gave away,
A piece of me began to fray.

Her words, once sweet, now taste of spite,
In another’s touch, she found delight.
A hollow ache, I can’t erase,
A bitter love, a twisted place.

She thought she’d hide beneath her smile,
But truth revealed in just a while.
I hate her now, for what she chose,
For love’s betrayal, and all it shows.

Another woman stole her heart,
But it was her lie that tore us apart.
